Vacuum infusion

- Production of composite components using the vacuum infusion process
- Dry fibres are prefabricated and inserted into the mould
- Combination with foam cores or inserts possible
- Mould is placed under vacuum with foil, silicone cover or second half of the mould
- Resin is drawn into the mould by negative pressure and impregnates the fibres
- Enables fibre volume content of up to 50%
